The Regional Radiology Manager provides guidance and direction to Radiology staff to ensure consistency across the region within administrative practices. This position partners with the VP Operations to ensure proper communication between the facilities in the region.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensures that each patient and team member is given the highest level of customer service and treated with the utmost respect
  • Leads Radiology department; provides conflict resolution for facility issues, and collaborates with department leads to ensure facility performance
  • Serves as a resource for Radiology Leads and Radiology Staff
  • Responsible for hiring and termination recommendations to department managers along with coordinating necessary HR approvals
  • Assist in training new Radiology Leads
  • Monitors, coaches, develops, and evaluates performance of staff on an ongoing basis in accordance with applicable performance standards; collaborates with respective VP/Directors/Regional Managers on technical aspects
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with vendors, employees, managers, and physicians
  • Serves as primary contact for all Radiology internal communications regarding the facility
  • Assist in marketing activities as requested by management
  • Review facility incident reports relating to Radiology
  • Assist roll out of new Radiology policies in procedures within the region
  • Responsible for implementation and education of all new Radiology policies and procedures
  • Responsible for covering any open shifts in ER or other facilities in the event no one is available
  • Assist Radiology Leads in assuring facility compliance and documentation on a monthly basis, as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, participating in all state inspections as required
  • Develop educational modules and refresher courses for Radiology staff
  • Assist with regional growth planning and new facility openings as required
  • Assists in development of retention strategy & plan for existing staff
  • Review all patient complaints/grievances related to Radiology and participate in resolution process with Radiology Lead


  • Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of  experience performing Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiographic procedures in an ER setting or another high volume area of the hospital; Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience preferred.
  • 4 years of management experience.
  • National certification from the ARRT is required.

  • CT Certification (required in AZ & CO)

  • CPR Certified
  • Current licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable.  

  • Extensive knowledge of basic laboratory testing procedures.

  • Ability to travel.


  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively, present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers and staff.
